Welcome to my Blog!

Hi, my name is Laura Taylor. I live in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and I have to say, I think it's the best place in the world to live! Although I have studio lighting that I can take on location I consider myself a natural light photographer. I believe natural lighting gives your images a more real and warm feeling. I mostly photograph weddings, portraits and babies but I love all genres of photography and I'm always up for anything.

I have an amazing partner, Kevin, who supports me, all my crazy ideas and puts up with my ridiculously busy schedule. Together we have a beautiful daughter Paige. I'm sure you'll see her in many posts! And I can't forget about our dog Jessie or "woof woof" as Paige calls her, who is very much a part of our family.

I think I have the best circle of friends ever, who never stop praising me and my photography. It was my friends and families support that got me to follow my passion for photography. I can't say enough about any of them. Big Thanks to all of you! You know who you are. 

Aside from photography I love spending time with my family, reading, watching movies and hanging out with my friends. I'm also addicted to chocolate and starbucks.....although I don't actually like coffee! But I do love a good Chai.

I'm not sure where the future is going to take me but I do know that it will always include photography.

Angie & Darcy {Westin Bear Mountain Resort Wedding Photography}

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of photographing Angie and I just can’t get enough of her. Aside of being absolutly georgous she has this sweet girl next door kind of personality. Which is a rocking combination! I have actually been trying to get this post done all week and have had a REALLY hard time deciding what to put up. I had so many favorites that I just kept changing my mind. I think my all time favorite of the day is the one below of Angie standing alone with her veil. I love it when brides wear veils and this one was the longest I have ever seen!!

Angie & Darcy had their wedding at the Westin Bear Mountain Resort. This was the first time I had ever gone there let alone photograph there, and I have to say it’s a really nice place to get married. They have a really pretty wine cellar in the basement, the grounds are beautiful and they take you on a bus tour of the golf course to take photos as well. These two are both really easy to photograph and they are just a fun and loving couple. I know they will have a great future together. Thanks guys for letting me be part of your amazing day!!

I was wondering if you'd be able to send me a couple of high res pics for the DVD Case & Menu? I can credit you on the case and menu if you're able to send me your logo as well.
